Topiary Arts
The art of the hairdresser and the topiarist are not dissimilar as James Cribben-Bailey can vouch. He abandoned hairdressing to become a sculptural topiary specialist. Best Newcomer in Show at Hampton Court in 2002 and an exhibitor at Chelsea he has appeared on Gardeners World clipping a teddy bear and enjoys nothing more than being summoned to sort out a wayward shrub. He will be running some courses this summer at Copped Hall, Epping Forest
a fine Georgian mansion undergoing restoration in a landscaped park. He will be at the Special Plants Nursery near Bath (a plantaholics paradise) as well as giving a seminar at Wisley.
